Pursuant to paragraph 7 of Section III of the Regulation on the State Institution "Territorial Medical Association of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Rivne region" approved by the Order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of 02.03.2020 No. 212 "On Amendments to the Regulation on the State Institution "Territorial Medical Association of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Rivne region", the order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of 12.11.2021 No. 187/33 "On increasing the readiness of health care institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to provide medical care to police officers and servicemen of the NGU in emergency situations" and in order to organize proper medical support for police officers and servicemen of the NGU who perform operational and service tasks in the emergency zone in the region, on 19.11.2021 and 03.12.2021, mobile medical units of the institution took part in tactical and special exercises within the framework of the special border operation "Polissia" near the checkpoint of the Ukrainian-Belarusian border "Horodyshche".

   

 

During the exercises, the algorithm of interaction between police officers, border guards, servicemen, rescuers, migration service employees, SBU employees, medical workers of the institution, and the region in case of violation of border crossing by illegal migrants was worked out.

                                 

About 300 people took part in the operation. Medical support was carried out in several stages. At the preparatory stage, training was conducted with the staff of mobile medical units, medical equipment for the march was checked and replenished with medical devices and medicines, municipal health care facilities and the amount of medical care during the movement of the column (for interaction) were specified, and a reserve of beds in the hospital of the institution and a stock of medicines was created.

      

The sanitary and epidemiological group had previously visited the site of the exercise. During the visit, the organization of accommodation, food, water supply, creation of safe conditions for police and military personnel, water supply, food, recreation, laundry, and laundry services, as well as compliance with the anti-epidemic regime in the places of deployment of personnel during the performance of operational tasks in emergency situations was carried out.

Also, the locations of territorial bodies of health care institutions have been established and cooperation with these institutions has been established to monitor the epidemiological situation in the locations of consolidated units and possible ways of medical evacuation.  

      
                                                         

In the second stage of the assigned tasks - the algorithm of actions of medical workers to the victims in the emergency zone, the mechanism of the evacuation of victims to municipal health care facilities and the hospital of the State Institution "TMA of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Rivne region" was worked out.  

                                                                                                                                     

At the third and final stage of the task, medical support of the convoy to the point of permanent deployment was carried out, medical kits were replenished upon arrival, and medical and psychological rehabilitation was organized.
