About Institution

The state institution "Territorial medical association of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Rivne region" (hereinafter - TMA) is an independent state multidisciplinary healthcare institution, which combines medical and preventive and other institutions that provide, on the basis of a license, medical support for persons who, according to the legislation, have the right for medical care in health care institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. TMO includes a medical (military-medical) commission, health care institutions that do not have the status of a legal entity:

• hospital;

• polyclinic;

• center for preventive medicine;

• center for mental health care and professional psychophysiological selection.

The main tasks of TMA:

1. Management of health care institutions that are part of it, ensuring conditions for their effective functioning in compliance with sanitary and hygienic requirements.

2. Provision of medical care to persons who, according to the legislation, have the right to medical care at the Ministry of Internal Affairs, according to the standards of medical care.

3. Control over the physical and mental state of health of persons who, according to the law, have the right to medical care at the Ministry of Internal Affairs, with appropriate correction.

4. Conducting a medical (military-medical) commission for medicinal and military-medical examination.

5. Providing social protection for former privates and commanding officers of internal affairs bodies, military personnel of the National Guard of Ukraine, internal troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, and their families.

6. Implementation of the achievements of science, technology, and advanced experience into the practice of TMA.

7. Organization of work to improve the qualifications of the TMA staff, holding meetings, seminars, scientific and practical conferences, meetings of the Medical Council, and the like.
