The device is designed for the automatic measurement of eye refraction and performs full automatic tracking along the X-Y-Z axes according to pupil position, internal pressure, and central corneal thickness. It provides sphere, cylinder, and axis information. Moreover, it can measure the patient's corneal curvature and inter-pupillary distance, as well as pupil diameter, and measures peripheral corneal curvature.

The device has additional functions: an examination of the patient's eye in color, in retro-illumination mode, also determines the time of tear film rupture and examination of meibomian glands. All this provides additional information for accurate diagnosis. The device is accurate, the accuracy specification is based on the results of testing the eye model, conducted in accordance with ISO10342.
